The NOVAGLASS range of prefabricated membranes includes one family of elastomeric type and one of plastomeric type . ELASTOMERIC membranes are mode with a waterproofing compound in distilled bitumen, modified with thermoplastic elastomers (SBS and SIS) with, in the middle of the thickness non-woven polyester or reinforced fiberglass carrier. Weight and type of reinforcement, superficial finishing and technical characteristics of the waterproofing compound differentiate the various products. PLASTOMERIC membranes are made with a waterproofing compound in distilled bitumen, modified with plastomers (polyolefinic saturated polymers such as APP -PAO- EPR etc.) with, in the middle of the thickness, appropriate reinforcements in pure polyester, in reinforced fiberglass or compolite; in the case of the plastomeric membranes as well, weight and type of reinforcement, superficial finishing and technical characteristics of the waterproofing compound identify the various products.   NOVAFLEX is a plastomeric waterproofing membrane, industrially manufactured with a continuous process by impregnation of the reinforcement with a waterproofing compound made of distilled bitumen, modified with saturated poyolefinic polymers. It presents the upper face treated with anti-adhesive sand, of amorphous nature and the lower face coated with thermo-fusible polyolefinic diflm. Shaping of the sheet, straightness, dimensional and superficial uniformity are accomplished by hot calendaring, with the mass in fluid state. NOVA-SK is a self adhesive elastomeric waterproofing membrane. It is industrially manufactured with a continuous process by impregnation of the reinforcement in a waterproofing compound made of distilled bitumen, modified with thermoplastic elastomers (SBS, SIS) and other polymers which confer to the product the special adhesion properties. The lower face is coated with an anti-adhesive, siliconised polyolefinic removable film and the upper face is coated with a thermo-fusible polyolefinic film or with a non woven polypropylene film; furthermore, a 10 cm side selvedge, protected by anti-adhesive film, in foreseen. Shaping of the sheet, straightness, dimensional and superficial uniformity are accomplished by hot calendaring, with the mass in fluid state. NOVATECNO and NOVATECNO MINERAL are plastomeric waterproofing membranes, industrially manufactured with a continuous process by impregnation of the reinforcement with a waterproofing compound made of distilled bitumen, modified with saturated polyolefinic polymers (APP, PAO, EPR). NOVATECNO presents the upper face treated with anti-adhesive sand of amorphous nature and the lower face coated with thermo-fusible polyolefinic film. NOVATECNO MINERAL is self protected on the upper face with mineral slate chips and complete of lateral overlap area free from the self protection, to facilitate and make more reliable the seaming process. Shaping of the sheet, dimensional and superficial uniformity are accomplished by hot calendaring, with the mass in fluid state. NOVATECNO POLIESTERE GRANIGLIATO is a plastomeric waterproofing membrane, self protected on the upper face with ceramised mineral slate chips and complete of lateral overlap area free from the self protection to facilitate and make more reliable the seaming process. The lower face is coated with thermo-fusible polyolefinic film. It is industrially manufactured with a continuous process by impregnation of the reinfrocement with a waterproofing compound made of distilled bitumen, modified with polyolefinic polymers (APP, PAO, ERP). Shaping of the sheet, straightness, dimensional and superficial uniformity are accomplished by hot calendering, with the moss in fluid state and subsequent finishing of both faces. NOVATER is plastomeric waterproofing membrane, industrially manufactured with a continuous process by impregnation of the reinforcement with a waterproofing compound made of distilled bitumen, modified with saturated polyolefinic polymers (APP, PAO, EPR). It presents the upper face treated with anti-adhesive sand, of amorphous nature and the lower face coated with thermo-fusible polyolefinic film. Shaping of the sheet, straightness, dimensional and superficial uniformity are accomplished by hot calendaring, with the mass in fluid state.
